Dr. Suzie Kardong-Edgren Selected as Inaugural Member in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Academy
RMU RISE Director Dr. Suzan Kardong-Edgren was selected as an inaugural Fellow in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare Academy. Selection was based on outstanding contributions to the development of SSH and to the field of healthcare simulation. Fellows’ skills and knowledge are a vital component of the Academy's success; the Fellows will initiate important work to keep the simulation field moving forward. The inaugural cohort of Fellows will be honored at International Meeting of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) 2017, January 28-February 1, Orlando, FL.
Fellows will use the credential FSSH. They are highly recognized by peers in the simulation community, serve as role models, mentors and ambassadors in healthcare simulation, contribute their time and talent to advance the mission and goals of SSH and the Academy, participate on internal and external invitational thinks tanks, advisory task forces and committees, and contribute to the growth of SSH and to the discipline of healthcare simulation.
